Below are our choices for the 'Best of the Best' in 2010. Many Film Installers will choose to sell only one brand in order to get leads from that company and sometimes lower the cost of film per roll. We have chosen to offer all quality manufacturers as some customers are loyal to one or another company. With this in mind...we will still try to educate you on the film that we see is the best for you.

BEST OF 2010

Automotive:

Non-Metallic/Color Stable Films: Both Llumar (LlumaStar ATR) and Suntek (Carbon) have advanced in the color-stable (CS) film industry with leaps and bounds. The film is very scratch resistant, optically clearer than other manufacturers, and one of the closest matches to the Massachusetts Tint Law (35%). This film is suggested to individuals who want to invest in a top of the line product with the CS technologies it boasts.

The Pros: Relatively low cost | Lifetime Warranty (Cracking, Peeling, Bubbling, Color Change) | Does not interfere with navigation, AM radio, or radar detectors.

The Cons: These films are the choice for 90% of our customers...the only thing that I can say, "There is still better".

Nano-Ceramic Films: Huper Optik is a leading manufacturer of this technology. The benefits are endless and are only some what negated by its cost. As this is the case, this film is not for everyone. In general, this film is for those who want a slightly different look than the norm while expanding the effectiveness of the film. With it's ceramic make-up, this film rejects up to 70% of the sun's heat while still offering a light, classy look.

The Pros: Ceramics are presently offering the best performance with no metals | Most optically clear film on the market | Light 'European' look differs from standard films | Still offers no electronic distortions as does the Carbon film.

The Cons: High Cost!

Residential:

Residential films are usually a lot less complicated than in the automotive industry. For most glare, heat, and fading problems we suggest Madico, SunTek, Huper Optik, or Llumar. We also offer 3M films per request of the customer. Each has different films that work better in their respective situations.
